A Commitment to Quality

For 90 years, Meaden & Moore has been committed to creating value for clients and employees.
A Commitment to Quality
Meaden & Moore has been creating value for its clients since 1919. With 180 employees in 13 offices across the country, the firm provides a variety of solutions in accounting, auditing, tax, employee benefits, consulting and investigative accounting.

At the heart of the firm’s success are its employees, who are always ready roll up their sleeves and work alongside their clients to help their businesses grow and thrive. CEO James Carulas says that commitment stems from the value Meaden & Moore puts on its employees’ professional and personal development.

“We provide plenty of training through continuing education seminars and leadership courses so they can hone their skills, and are thoroughly educated on the best practices in business,” Carulas says. “We also encourage our people to get involved in the communities that give us so much. Your business is only as good as the people you have and can retain.”

Meaden & Moore specializes in several industries especially pertinent to Northeast Ohio’s economy including manufacturing, construction, health care, nonprofit and insurance. But the firm is continuously expanding its breadth of services and specialty concentrations. International and global services is one such area that has been growing substantially over the past two years as more and more businesses look for assistance in doing business globally. The firm assists domestic companies with transactions overseas and works with foreign companies looking to acquire businesses or conduct business in the United States.

In addition, the company provides international accounting services through its affiliation with AGN International, an association of more than 200 independent accounting and consulting firms in more than 480 offices around the world, allowing the company to bring talented professionals to clients anywhere.

In a region like Northeast Ohio, where entrepreneurship reigns king, Meaden & Moore provides advice and assistance to entrepreneurs looking to start a company, as well as small businesses looking to grow.

“There are a lot of people out there who have an idea, but don’t know where to start,” Carulas says. “We can help them get organized, create a business plan and help them get access to capital to make it happen.”

Although the firm traditionally works with owner-managed and closely held businesses, Meaden & Moore also has significant engagements with many large public companies. But no matter what size or type of business, the employees of Meaden & Moore strive to understand their clients’ needs and to exceed their expectations.

“We are a lot of different things for a lot of different clients,” Carulas says. “Our culture is commitment to clients, commitment to service and commitment to personal and professional growth of our associates. It is the key to our success.”
